I’m a month and eight episodes in to my new podcast, Stories of Growth. I’ve been publishing a new episode every week, and have all episodes planned through the end of this year. It’s been a very fun experience so far, and it helps that this is my second podcast.
I’ve gotten to speak to inspiring individuals from all over, about topics ranging from starting a new business, selling with authentic curiosity, growing a business, starting a film club, building a town, to watching movies with a critical eye.
Learning and growth are topics I could talk about all day long, and with this podcast, I get to do just that.
I started thinking about this podcast about a year ago, and I just wasn’t sure it was ever going to become a reality. But then I decided to tell people about my plan. I sent an email to a small group of friends and announced that I would launch the podcast in September. Making that public announcement kept me on track to actually follow through.
Do you have a long-term project or goal that you haven’t made progress with? Try sending an email to a small group of people and announce what your goals are. Even if they never check back in with you to see if you are making progress, chances are you’ll be more motivated to follow through.
If you’re interested in hearing about tales of personal and professional growth, you can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes. Instructions for how to subscribe are at this link.
